CCNY City Beat featured a profile of CUNY BA student, Arbar Mirza. You can check it out here under the “Students in Action” section:
Major: Computer Science and Electronic Design and Multimedia [self-designed through the CUNY BA program]. The CUNY BA allowed me to tailor my education so that I could pursue my interest in user experience design and engineering products that keep the users in mind.
CCNY Activities: I am the founder of the CCNY Code Dojo, a club on campus that aims to bring programming and web development to students of all majors and all backgrounds. I’ve also been awarded the Thomas W. Smith Fellowship with the CUNY BA.
CCNY Highlights: The professors that I’ve been exposed to. Being able to work with my professors so closely has given me the chance to really personalize my education and make meaningful connections with others on campus.
