In partnership with the United Nations Alliance of Civilization (UNAOC) Fellowship Program, CUNY Baccalaureate is hosting a roundtable in the presence of the 2016 Fellows from the MENA region, comprised of community organizers, educators, academics, and activists from Jordan, Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Palestine, Morocco, Iraq, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia.

The keynote presentation will be delivered by visual artist, George H. Lewis. His work addresses intercultural understanding, human values, and the role of art in promoting more harmonious global society. It challenges our inherent perception of the “other” and seeks to “cultivate a symbiosis across cultures, creeds, and gender.”

We are inviting all interested to join an interactive discussion on cross-cultural dialogue, global citizenship, and the role of art in preventing radicalization and xenophobia.

The roundtable will take place at the Graduate Center, October 28, Friday, from 2:30- 4:00pm, Room C415A.
