Exciting Summer and Fall 2018 Study Abroad Programs through John Jay College

The Office of International Studies & Programs  at John Jay College is accepting applications for our 10 summer 2018 programs and new semester program, including new programs with internships for academic credit. Our study-abroad programs are led by faculty at John Jay College and partner institutions that are among the top scholars in justice and beyond. Our upcoming programs include:

Queensland, Australia – John Jay College-University of the Sunshine Coast Semester Study-Abroad & Cybercrime Internship Program

Liberal Arts, Academic Internship (optional); 12-15 undergraduate credits per semester


Vienna, Austria – United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime, Vienna: Transnational Crime & Justice (Faculty-led program in collaboration with the United Nations)

International Criminal Justice/Political Science; 3 undergraduate or graduate credits

Havana, Cuba – The Cuban Revolution: Social Justice, Race & Emigration (Faculty-led program in collaboration with Universidad de La Habana)

Latin American & Latina/o Studies; 3 undergraduate credits

Athens, Greece – Global Security: The Case Study of Greece (Faculty-led program in collaboration with The American College of Greece)

Security Management; 3 undergraduate credits

Bali, Indonesia – Cultural and Psychological Theories of Self in Society (Faculty-led program)

Forensic Psychology; 6 undergraduate or 3 graduate credits

Florence, Italy – Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici Summer Program in Organized Crime & Psychology of Crime (JJC-affiliated program)

Sociology & Psychology; 3 or 6 undergraduate credits

Dakar, Senegal – The Dakar Institute of African Studies Summer Study-Abroad & Internship Program (JJC-affiliated program)

Africana Studies, Wolof, French, Academic Internship; 6 undergraduate credits

Cape Town, South Africa – University of Cape Town Global Academy (JJC-affiliated program)

Africana Studies, History; 6 undergraduate credits

Barcelona, Spain – Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona Summer School (JJC-affiliated program)

Liberal Arts, including Spanish for Heritage Speakers; 3 or 6 undergraduate credits

Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK – Queens University Belfast International Summer School in Conflict Transformation & Social Justice (JJC-affiliated program)

Conflict Transformation; 3 undergraduate credits

London, England, UK – University of Westminster London International Summer School (JJC-affiliated program)

Liberal Arts; 3 or 6 undergraduate credits

Students past their first year and of all majors are encouraged to apply!
