Gun Control Advocacy Fellowship Hosted by Manhattan District Attorney’s Office
This summer, the Manhattan DA’s office will host a new gun control advocacy fellowship for graduating high school students and those currently enrolled in college.
“The fellowship will provide two young people – from New York and/or around the country – with a platform to advocate forstronger gun laws through New York-based media, educate and mobilize young people in Manhattan communities, and strengthen bonds between the emerging youth movement and existing networks of advocates and survivors in New York City and beyond.”
The applicants must be personally affected by gun violence in their schools, communities, or families.
Deadline: Applications are due by April 20th
