Professor David Smith, Faculty Mentor

Dr. David B. Smith is the Chair of the Entertainment Technology Department at NYC College of Technology, where he is a Full Professor specializing in sound and music technology. He is recognized as one of the world leaders in the development of live performance computer instrument systems and is presently a CUNY Baccalaureate mentor for Dwayne Small’s second area of concentration in “Music Production and Audio Engineering.”

Dr. Smith has written: “I have participated as a CUNY BA Mentor in the past and find it to be very rewarding.”

His latest accomplishments are:

And, he will be presenting at the National Association for Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Conference in Orlando Florida, in June, 2012.
