Student-Veteran Internship Program

Student-Veteran Internship Program – Four Block
If you’re looking for a competitive advantage in landing a summer internship, as well as opportunities to meet and network with senior executives at Fortune 500 companies, then join a growing network of student-veterans who have decided to become the next generation of corporate leaders.

The City University of New York Central Office for Veterans’ Affairs, in partnership with Four Block (www.fourblock.com), is offering a fall program specifically to assist CUNY student veterans with landing summer 2014 internships at Fortune 500 companies here in NYC.

This is a competitive, semester-long program that consists of professional development classes, one-on-one mentoring, and networking events at companies such as JPMorgan, NBCUniversal, and the National Football League.  Participants will be expected to attend once-a-week classes and networking events, typically taking place on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm at Marsh & McLennan corporate headquarters in midtown Manhattan.
Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, served after 9/11, received an honorable discharge, be at least half-time enrolled at a college.  To apply, send your resume to mabrams@fourblock.com.  We will then set up a call or face to face meeting to ensure you’re a good fit for the course.

Applications are due Thursday, September 12th, 2013.  Our class is expected to fill up soon so please submit your resumes early as we will accept students as they apply.
Looking forward to working with you in the fall!
