On October 17th, 2012, the CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies (CUNY BA) brought together a range of unique voices to discuss the political, social, and economic future of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

CUNY Baccalaureate conference on the Political Future of Iran. Wednesday, October 17, from 6-9pm, at the CUNY Graduate Center, Elebash Recital Hall. Register here!

About Global Affairs

Current global challenges call for an interdisciplinary perspective, an approach which merges academic training, hands-on experience, multiculturalism, and international exposure. In the words of the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, “[University] departments are coming together to create interdisciplinary degrees. We are seeing the emergence of well-rounded scholars who are as comfortable in a research facility as they are in a refugee camp… This opens up vast new possibilities. By sharing ideas, across borders and disciplines, we can find solutions to the interconnected problems”

If you are interested in making a difference, changing the world, helping fellow human beings through humanitarian work, CUNY BA will help you design individualized degree that reflects your ideas and global needs. A unique program of study would also benefit your future career in diplomacy, human rights, conflict resolution, international relations, peace and security, intelligence, or international law.
