Commitments: (see more about this position here): Established in 2005 by President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convened global and emerging leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. From 2005-2016, CGI members have made more than 3,600 Commitments to Action, which are improving the lives of over 435 million people in 180 countries. Today, CGI focuses on the Action Network on Post-Disaster Recovery which convenes local leaders from Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominica, and Antigua and Barbuda to develop new, specific, and measurable plans that advance recovery and promote long-term resiliency across the region. The Action Network works to drive impact across various sectors including agriculture, education, energy, mental health, preparedness and pre-positioning, and workforce development.
The CGI Commitments Team intern will work closely with the CGI Commitments team to support programming of the CGI Action Network on Post-Disaster Recovery, manage data for the portfolio of Commitments to Actions, conduct research, perform data analysis on CGI impact, and create reports and memos. The intern will gain skills in data management and event planning and support and will be exposed to a variety of content areas including agriculture, education, energy, mental health, preparedness and pre-positioning, and workforce development as they related to the recovery of the Caribbean region.
Communications: (see more about this position here) The Communications (Press) Department interns support the work of our programs in telling the stories of those who are empowered by the Clinton Foundation. These interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of communications functions, including drafting press releases and op-eds, compiling press clips, identifying media outlets and reporters, conducting research, and participating in other aspects of press outreach and communications.
Development: (see more about this position here) The Development Department intern helps support raising the necessary resources to fund the Foundation’s core operations and programs. Interns help five core teams: Events, Annual Giving, Research, Digital/Direct Mail, and our young professional program, Clinton Foundation 20/30. They have the opportunity to participate in event planning, prospecting projects, and creatively collaborate to discover other revenue streams.
New- B-Bullard Internships: B-Bullard is looking to hire up to 4 unpaid interns to support their film-making and production work. Interns will work on integrative media campaigns, plan strategies for film development, develop investment packages, produce video interviews, conduct archival research for films, and help develop scripts. B-Bullard is looking for candidates with experience with Microsoft Office, social media, digital video camera, editing, and production. Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere are preferred.
